Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks an Industrial/Mechanical Engineering intern to join the Industrial Engineering team.

You will develop KPI dashboards, perform root cause analysis, identify process drift, and drive lean projects while gaining visibility with upper management. This paid internship offers mentoring, learning opportunities, networking events, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL) and advanced Excel macros.
• Experience withSpotfire or Tableau for analytics.
• Proficiency with Wrike and SAP project tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Skyworks' Industrial Engineering Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities

• Lean Waste ReductionProjects
• Cross functional observation to identify and drive continuous improvements in cycle time, constraints, efficiency, cost, etc.
• Generate proper documentation/reports and present findings

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Computer database experience (Oracle, SQL, Advanced Excel Macros programming)
• Experience with statistical and/or reporting tools such as Spotfire or Tableau
• Experience withWrike andSAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Self‑Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
