Job summary

ITW Performance Polymers in Danvers, MA is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and reviewing procedures and equipment for our batch processes, with a capstone project to identify process improvements and present insights to senior leadership.

As a hands-on co-op, you will work closely with Production, Quality, and R&D teams, gain practical skills in process optimization, troubleshooting, and project management, and

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Wamiliarity with safety-focused SOP development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, record, and analyze production data to inform process setpoints.
• Optimize batch manufacturing by adjusting equipment and material targets.
• Develop SOPs for existing and new processes with a strong safety emphasis.
• Lead Management of Change reviews across production, logistics, and maintenance.
• Support equipment modifications and capital project activities.
