ITW Performance Polymers in Montgomeryville, PA, seeks an Engineering Co‑op to join the Manufacturing team. The role focuses on creating and maintaining SOPs and related documentation while spending significant time on the production floor observing operations.

You will collect process data, understand equipment and operator practices, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive safe, efficient manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, Systems, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for hands‑on work in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and feasibility assessment of designs.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and manufacturing documentation.
• Observe operations on the production floor, collect process data and identify risks.
• Translate observations into clear, compliant procedures for safe operations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS and R&D teams.
• Assist with documentation updates following process improvements and changes.
