Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer to optimize our warehouse network and supply chain flows. You will work with autonomy to identify process improvements across facilities and develop new programs.

The role requires lean/six sigma expertise, 5+ years in Industrial Engineering, CAD skills, and willingness to travel up to 30%. Hybrid work with two onsite days per week at Aurora, IL or Bethlehem, PA.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Experienced in project management.

Responsibilities

• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Investigate, evaluate, develop project estimates, and manage operational projects.
• Facilitate and manage corrective and preventative action teams from customer complaints and CI initiatives.
• Provide technical floor support, troubleshoot, and guide process improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, cost-saving analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Define and document SOPs for new/modified processes.
• Identify and remove barriers to project goals.
• Manage process data collection and project tracking.
