Job summary

PPG's Aerospace Business in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to model and document original designs using SolidWorks or similar software. PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software / Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• 4+ years of Modeling experience required.
• PLC interfacing, primarily Allen Bradley.
• Ability to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Model creation and virtual testing, standardization of methodology and records across the business.
• PLC code creation and troubleshooting, and instrumentation integration across the business unit.
• Develop RFQs, SOW, and directly manage vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment installation.
• Responsible for project documentation, including technical writing.
• Select and install hardware and software as needed.
