Job description

XLC Services is seeking highly talented and motivated candidates for new leadership opportunities in Boston, MA; Greensboro, NC; Martinsburg, WV and Albany, GA.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of Production Personnel.
2. Troubleshoot existing issues involving designs, materials, and processes to optimize manufacturability.
3. Assist in warehouse layout and design improvements.
4. Conduct time study to forecast manpower and equipment needs for costing and budgetary requirements.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Work closely with customer's engineering, product management, operations, and sourcing personnel.
7. Maintain, report, and analyze production and operating metrics.
8. Participate in product introduction teams to deliver new products to production lines.
9. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
10. Specify and recommend efficiency tools and test methods to develop and validate designs.
11. Lead continuous quality and safety improvement initiatives.
12. Identify and drive corrective action based on root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

Candidate will demonstrate a metrics-driven mindset and demonstrated performance improvement experience using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Six Sigma knowledge is helpful. Management training focus is preferred.
