Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs and manufactures advanced composite components for aerospace and industrial applications. The Manufacturing Engineer will plan layouts for layup, cure, machining, bonding, painting and assembly, and adapt processes to production conditions.

You will provide technical solutions, work with multi-disciplinary teams, and apply DMAIC/LEAN tools; experience with CATIA V5, Windchill, and SAP is a plus. Day shift, on-site position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

BS in designated Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the composites materials and processing field.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.
Works under only general direction, independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
Performs Root Cause and Corrective Action /NonconformanceDisposition (MRB)
