Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Joliet, IL, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will conduct time studies, apply Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies, and develop standard work instructions to optimize operations.

Responsibilities include designing work cells, mapping value streams, evaluating equipment and production methods, and supporting cost analyses for existing and new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and labor analysis to set standards.
• Apply Lean, 5S, Theory of Constraints, root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies to improve operations.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
• Design and optimize work cells and layouts to improve material flow and reduce waste.
• Create current-state and future-state value stream maps.
• Evaluate equipment, tooling, and production methods to improve performance.
• Support cost analysis for existing and new products and process changes.
• Analyze manufacturing data and ERP information to support decisions.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify variation and drive improvements.
