Job summary

Knorr Brake Company seeks an Industrial Engineer for Zelisko Energy in Springfield, USA, hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on designing and improving manufacturing processes to achieve cost efficiency and productivity gains.

You will manage investments, implement lean methods, and collaborate across Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to drive continuous improvement and innovative manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a University of Applied Sciences or Technical University.
• Several years of professional experience in planning, implementing, and optimizing production and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading process improvement and operational excellence projects in manufacturing and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality and performance.
• Plan and budget production investments aligned with objectives and requirements.
• Establish KPIs and monitor effectiveness of improvements and optimization initiatives.
• Implement synchronized manufacturing processes and pull-system principles.
• Identify and eliminate wastes and root causes to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate external development partners to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Finance.
• Lead training on new workflows and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support innovation and future mobility solutions in manufacturing.
• Negotiate finance-related contracts and intercompany agreements where needed.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives and other operational excellence programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry requirements.
