The incumbent will conduct time studies, map processes, and coordinate maintenance/logistics activities, contributing to cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations analysis.
• Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience conducting data analysis, time studies, and workflow assessments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes, workflows, and operations to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
• Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance and logistics activities using data analytics and performance metrics.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization efforts.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations personnel to implement solutions.
• Assist with facility layout, workflow design, and space utilization planning.
• Ensure compliance with Army Technical Manuals (TMs), safety standards, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis for program leadership.
• Support audits, inspections, and government reviews.
