Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join a Fort Worth client, a full-time, direct-hire role. The engineer will apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve safety, quality, and productivity across manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities include analyzing processes, developing standard methods, and supporting NPI with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean principles.
• Experience applying Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes, labor, and equipment to identify productivity and cost improvements.
• Develop and implement Lean-based process improvements and standard methods.
• Create process maps, layouts, and workflows to boost efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for better flow and throughput.
• Support NPI activities for manufacturing readiness and process development.
• Provide engineering oversight to ensure alignment of docs and methods.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assess capability with DOE and statistical methods; drive optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Promote continuous improvement and safer, cost-effective methods.
