Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations for brushless DC motors, pumps, and blower products. You will apply Lean principles, perform time studies, and create efficient processes across assembly and machining areas.

The role involves improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost through data-driven analysis, ERP data maintenance, and collaboration with production, quality, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, machine shop practices, and electromechanical concepts.
• Ability to identify AI use cases to improve productivity and costs.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies, work sampling, and Standard Work to optimize labor utilization.
• Analyze manufacturing processes on assembly lines and machine shop to remove bottlenecks.
• Develop and update process routings, work instructions, and manufacturing docs.
• Design and implement production line layouts for multiple areas.
• Monitor OEE, scrap, rework, and productivity metrics.
• Support manufacturing engineers with new product releases and capacity modeling.
• Lead Kaizen events and 5S, visual management, and poka-yoke initiatives.
