Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to plan and optimize material flow, space utilization, and delivery routes at our Greenville, SC site. You will lead CI projects, develop SOPs, and manage hand-offs across warehouse, kitting, and production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 3–4 years in industrial engineering, or 6+ years with a high school diploma/GED. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university with 3-4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of Industrial Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain floor layouts & market designs for efficient material flow.
• Plan and execute expansion projects to improve space utilization & line delivery.
• Design and optimize material delivery routes & evaluate automation opportunities (AGV, AMR, etc.).
• Lead Material Presentation Modeling & Design for line-side racks, carts, and other transport devices.
• Own Kanban & PFEP standard and process for areas of responsibility.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for hand-offs between warehouse, kitting and production.
• Design and document Standard Work for materials processes including receiving and replenishment.
• Lead CI projects to reduce waste, labor, and space.
