Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and support new program launches in a high-volume automotive environment in Cottondale, Alabama. The role reports to engineering leadership and offers a pathway to drive cross-functional process development and layout improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial/manufacturing engineering, strong lean and FMEA skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering, preferably within automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and workplace ergonomics
Proficiency in manufacturing process planning, equipment implementation, AutoCAD, and process FMEA

Responsibilities

Optimize production processes and improve efficiency in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
Serve as a cross-functional liaison focusing on process development and layout design.
Support new program launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
