Qualifications

• BA degree in Technical or Science Discipline, Engineering preferred with 2-5 years’ experience.
• Experience in time study to determine labor cost content of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data management, analysis and transfer).
• Ability to work individually or as a member of a team.
• Willing to work any shift (including weekends) with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical methods and perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
• Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.
• Formulate sampling procedures and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
• Record or oversee recording of information to ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives.
• Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems.
• Recommend methods to improve utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
• Regulate and alter workflow schedules to expedite production operations.
• Figure out how to manufacture parts with maximum efficiency and develop cost control systems.
