Job summary

Qualifications

• BA degree in Technical or Science Discipline, Engineering preferred with 2-5 years' experience.
• Experience in time study to determine labor cost content of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data management, analysis and transfer).
• Ability to work individually or as a member of a team.
• Willing to work any shift (including weekends) with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical methods and perform calculations to determine staff requirements and production standards.
• Coordinate quality control objectives to resolve production problems, maximize reliability, and minimize cost.
• Estimate production cost and effect of design changes for management review, action, and control.
• Formulate sampling procedures and develop forms for recording and reporting quality data.
• Record information to ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems.
• Analyze data and product specifications to determine quality and reliability objectives.
• Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems.
• Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
• Regulate workflow schedules to expedite production operations.
• Figure out efficient manufacturing methods and delivery of services.
• Develop management control systems for financial planning and cost analysis.
