Job summary

VMC Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer to develop and sustain efficient methods across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, focused on eliminating waste and reducing costs. The role emphasizes ERP-based BOM/BOP management, time studies, and cost setting for new products.

You will drive value stream analysis, balanced process flows, CAD-informed floor layouts, and tool/fixture design to enhance production efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ERP systems and data management.
• Engineering math skills for data handling and statistics.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
• Knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain efficient operational methods for engineering, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Create and maintain MOM with BOM & BOP in ERP and set up products for costing.
• Conduct time studies and work sampling to measure work.
• Develop floor layouts and assembly tools to improve production.
• Ensure ERP deployment and data migration to support manufacturing operations.
• Provide training and support to production and QA for accurate operations.
