Vmc Group is seeking a qualified professional to join the Supply Chain team, focusing on ERP-based manufacturing methods and BOM/Operations management to improve cost accuracy and efficiency.

The role covers establishing new products in ERP, ECN-driven phase-ins, and thorough material transaction auditing, with emphasis on data integrity and Lean practices within a typical factory/office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Proficiency maintaining process and BOM structures within an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain manufacturing methods within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure accurate costing and planning.
• Develop and maintain the Methods of Manufacture (MOM) "Bill of Materials & Bill of Operations" for products within the ERP system.
• Establish new products in the ERP system to ensure proper material transactions and cost setting.
• Phase-in methods and product structure changes for existing products in the ERP system from Engineering Change Notices (ECN's).
• Observe, troubleshoot, and take action in production to ensure accuracy and proper execution.
• Review and audit job orders to ensure accurate time reporting and material transactions.
• Analyze material transactions to maintain system effectiveness.
• Develop procedures and work instructions with supporting documentation.
• Provide backup for Planner Buyer
• Produce job orders and travelers within VMC operations and suppliers
• Ensure material transactions are executed properly, accurately, and timely

• Knowledge of process improvement models such as Six Sigma or Kaizen 5S
• Knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes for design
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
