Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years in industrial engineering with material flow, lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab or similar).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize material flow across manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase throughput.
• Conduct data analysis and generate actionable insights for process improvements.
• Develop and refine production workflows ensuring efficient use of materials, components, and labor.
• Support performance metrics, KPIs, and tools to track production efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to optimize manufacturability of new or changed products.
• Identify bottlenecks, quality issues, and other inefficiencies in the production process.
• Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production goals.
• Provide guidance and training on lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to team members.
