Job summary

Circor Aerospace & Defense in Warren, MA is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to impact production floor performance by analyzing capital planning decisions and driving continuous improvement under the Director of Production. This role is expected to grow into a leadership position with direct reports as the IE function matures.

You will lead capacity analyses, implement standard work, and partner across engineering, production, and quality to optimize throughput, safety, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary authority on manufacturing capacity, flow, and constraints, informing staffing, scheduling, and delivery decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve capacity models for labor and equipment to support realistic production planning.
• Conduct time studies and process analyses to improve OEE and throughput.
• Define and sustain standard work, labor standards, and productivity models for costing and performance management.
• Evaluate operational impact of changes, new products, and schedule changes on labor and equipment.
• Lead Kaizen/MSW events and drive post-event sustained improvements.
• Support capital investment justification and ROI analyses.
• Design and optimize manufacturing layouts and workspace flow for safety and efficiency.
