Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering, manufacturing and supply chain partner, seeks an Industrial Engineer III to design and manage integrated production and service delivery systems. You will drive performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost control while advancing profitability and continuous improvement across life cycles.

The role emphasizes standardization, Lean practices, and data-driven improvements, with responsibilities spanning quoting, NPI, and mentoring of IE staff at the production

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools including work measurement and process mapping.
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction.
• Understanding of site's facilities and capabilities and how they tie to Jabil's direction.

Responsibilities

• Verify Time standards prepared within IE Team.
• Update and report key Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customer or area.
• Drive process mapping activities within the assigned customer or area.
• Drive the standardization SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations.
• Prepare quotes for proposed projects within the assigned customer or area.
• Drive process related activities for New Product Introduction.
• Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.
• Support and/or maintain all lower level IE essential duties and responsibilities.
• Insure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site per global, regional and site direction.
• Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity for process improvement.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
