Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Project Industrial Engineer to plan, design, implement, and manage integrated production and service delivery systems across multiple sites. You will drive cross-functional projects, optimize performance, cost, and quality, and mentor site IE teams.

The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement world-class manufacturing systems and standardize practices across Jabil workcells, with focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical field required.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple sites.
• Experience with SMT, Backend/DF, assembly, box build, or other electronics manufacturing processes preferred.
• Demonstrated experience implementing continuous-improvement, productivity, yield-improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Experience with manufacturing process development, work measurement, capacity analysis, facility/workcell design, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple Jabil sites to identify, develop, test, and implement world-class manufacturing equipment, systems, tools, procedures, and processes.
• Ensure current and future manufacturing processes and systems meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
• Review and promote improvements in customer metrics to support customer satisfaction and business objectives.
• Act as a liaison during program transfers, including input into transfer plans, timelines, data requirements, and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in program launches and provide technical support throughout implementation.
• Provide systems support for manufacturing and business systems such as SAP, MES, IEDB.
• Lead change-management initiatives associated with major process, system, facility, and manufacturing improvements.
• Develop and implement continuous-improvement and cost-reduction programs.
• Promote best practices across Jabil sites and manufacturing operations.
