Qualifications

  • Degree in IE / IET or related engineering field
  • 3–5 years in automotive assembly or heavy equipment plant preferred
  • Experience establishing plant layouts and cost proposals
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, UG and Vis-Mock Up
  • Experience with SharePoint, TeamCenter and SAP is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication; initiative and problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain production standards, line balances and manning requirements
  • Establish material flow and layouts
  • Ascertain labor and material requirements for engineering changes
  • Interface with government on engineering changes impacting manufacturing
  • Monitor and control production line speed
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma and ISO tools within the assembly process flow
  • Provide leadership to AMG BOS and MOS
