Job summary

Stellantis Industrial Engineer - Assembly will manage direct and indirect labor, line speed, cycle checks, workstation assignments, and change control to balance lines. The role uses Lean concepts and time/motion studies with MODAPTS to identify waste and improve efficiency on the production floor.

You will support Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) Domains and assist the IE Manager and IE Supervisor to sustain Lean manufacturing and optimal manning, interfacing across all levels from shop floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology or similar / equivalent.
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime.
• Ability to travel on occasion (10% - 20%).

A qualified candidate will utilize Lean concepts to identify and eliminate waste as well as perform time/motion studies using MODAPTS. This position will assist the IE Manager and IE Supervisor with technical services to maintain efficient levels of Lean manufacturing and manning. The Industrial Engineer will supportStellantis Industrial System (SIS)Domains as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology or similar / equivalent
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing Stellantis Production Way in a union environment
• Knowledge of time study/standards, ratings, MODAPTS, ergonomic evaluations
• Knowledge of Chrysler Automated Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS) knowledge preferred
• Assembly launch experience
• Kitting and indirect labor experience
