Job Description

This role is the entry-level position in the engineering series. Incumbents perform routine engineering project tasks independently and receive closer supervision for more complex tasks. This position has no direct reports.

  • Integrity: Identifies customer needs and safety concerns, develops solutions, and defines project scope. Prepares and assembles project documentation based on manager’s guidance.
  • Collaboration: Coordinates with various departments and vendors to ensure equipment safety, timeliness, and specifications. Manages procurement activities, including vendor review, purchase orders, negotiations, and expediting.
  • Accountability: Manages project costs, schedules, and communicates relevant data across teams.
  • Results and Outperformance: Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, stays current with industry practices, and assists with installation, start-up, and training as needed.

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, CS&E, Controls/Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience; internship or coop preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
