Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering focusing on manufacturing processes.
- Experience with process design, simulation, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with CAD software for process layouts.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Utilize simulation software to model production scenarios and identify bottlenecks.
- Apply SPC techniques to monitor and control manufacturing quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, product design, and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Conduct time studies and capacity planning for efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on process performance, improvements, and cost savings.
