Textron Specialized Vehicles in Augusta, GA is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering professional to analyze systems and drive data-based decisions on the shop floor. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and implement lean initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred) and 0+ years of experience, with proficiency in Excel, MiniTab, Power BI, and CAD/SAP/MES tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 0+ years of experience required; internship or project management preferred.
• Software knowledge includes Excel, MiniTab, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• CAD (NX or SolidWorks), SAP, MES, Teamcenter, and Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing systems and processes to drive data-based decisions.
• Use cross-functional resources for improvement efforts.
• Employ 1+ software environments for data analytics and predictions.
• Gather data manually or via time studies, data mining, or SAP.
• Apply lean principles to identify opportunities for waste reduction.
• Develop projects with measurement needs, resources, and outcomes.
• Implement strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate workstations for ergonomic improvements and visual management.
• Recommend storage and presentation methods for the assembly line.
