Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a motivated logistics-focused student for a 6‑month assignment in an aerospace manufacturing setting. You will help develop standard work, training materials, and cross‑training matrices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Onsite role requiring 5 days a week, with responsibilities including time studies, workflow documentation, and data analysis to improve inventory, shipping accuracy, and part traceability.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and be actively enrolled in an accredited university, preferably in industrial engineering.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Commitment to a 6-month assignment (January 2027–June 2027).

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation and training standards for Logistics workflows.
• Create work instructions aligned with internal, regulatory, and customer standards.
• Create cross-training matrix by area and Material Handler level (I, II, III).
• Perform time studies as needed.
• Eliminate redundant processes and paperwork.
• Define and implement process improvements to eliminate escapes.
• Error proof shipping documentation and labeling.
• Error proof material issues.
• Improve part traceability.
• Introduce barcode scanning.
• Maximize WH organization and efficiency.
• Perform data analysis on WH movements.
• Implement visual factory and 5S standards.
• Support creation and execution of new WH layout.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma and be actively enrolled in an accredited University prefer industrial engineering degree


• 0-1 year experience in manufacturing setting
