Job summary

Nokia in Sunnyvale is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to develop and maintain fab capacity models and equipment capabilities. You will work with engineering to establish production standards and drive improvements in throughput and yield.

Apply theory of constraints to identify cost reductions, implement best labor practices, and collaborate with management to define roadmaps for yield optimization and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Fab capacity model and ongoing equipment capabilities.
• Use the Theory of constraints to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased throughput, workflow improvements, etc.
• Communicate with management and other personnel to develop production and design standards
• Develop and implement best labor practices (touch time optimization, etc)
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify yield improvement roadmaps
