ASIC Manufacturing Engineer — Yield & Fab Optimization

Job summary

Nokia is seeking an ASIC Operations Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to join the production team and collaborate with the ASIC design group and OSAT partners. You will analyze yields, drive manufacturing improvements, and optimize wafer throughput to maximize output.

The role requires a BS in engineering discipline with semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, plus experience in data analysis, FA, and DFM reviews. On-site role in California with global connectivity focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related semiconductor field.
• Experience interfacing with design and manufacturing teams in a semiconductor environment.
• Knowledge of DFM and fab processes, yield management, and OSAT interactions.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the ASIC design team to deliver products into production with OSAT partners.
• Monitor and drive improvement of ASIC yields and close manufacturing incidents.
• Drive manufacturing efficiencies to maximize ASIC output.
• Collaborate with foundries/OSAT vendors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Perform yield analysis, failure analysis, and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Review layout for manufacturability and maintain process documentation and best-known methods.
