Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
• 2+ years of related industrial engineering experience
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts
• May establish or assist in accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel
• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems to optimize product flow
• May assist facilities engineers in planning and design of facilities
• Develops and provides time standards to the shop floor and standard work for operations and processes
• Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization and line balancing
