JOB SUMMARY:
Integrates systems to increase efficiency by maximizing the factors of production, including but not limited to, processes, methods, time standards, human factors, machine utilization, material routing and handling methods, tool design and application, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Engineering related degree from an accredited college or university is required. Must understand lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies and be able to apply statistical techniques in a manufacturing environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization and maintain positive employee/employer relations. Ability to respond to technical inquiries, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Excellent writing and communication skills with a strong knowledge of Excel and MS Word. All communication must be handled with professional expertise, complete and thorough detail, documentation, and follow-through.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts of algebra, geometry, statistics and advanced shop mathematics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Requires considerable initiative and decision-making judgment. Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of employees. Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and assess priorities to meet deadlines, recognize workflow, and carefully plan short and long term projects. Results oriented, energetic; a self-starter that is a team player with the ability to think conceptually, flexibly and strategically.
