Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician – Electric Power Generation to diagnose, repair, and startup diesel and gas engines, including generators, for customers across our service area.

The role includes training and access to specialty tools to ensure success in a leading CAT dealer environment. The position may require after-hours and weekend work, with assignments dispatched to the field or performed in the workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial engines (diesel and gas).
• Ability to diagnose, repair and startup diesel/gas engines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines.
• Work on generators and components in various environments.
• Safely assemble/disassemble equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Complete service reports and update work orders.
• Meet DOT physical and licensing requirements as mandated by law.
• Work overtime as required and maintain tools.
