Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking an Assembly Tech I in Midland, TX, to contribute to engine and equipment assemblies under mentor supervision. In this role, you will attach components, align engines and radiators, test assemblies, and document all work.

You’ll gain exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic piping, wiring, and basic electrical tasks while improving shop efficiency. Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, basic mechanical and electrical tool familiarity, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some industrial/oilfield assembly experience a plus.
• Our Assembly Tech I’s must possess mechanical tools and some electrical tools.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to use technology and computers; basic problem solving; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work the assembly process under mentor supervision and perform tasks such as attaching equipment and aligning components.
• Assist with documenting repairs, testing, and assemblies upon completion.
• Support welding fit up, electrical work, painting and other tasks as needed.
• Install wiring and electrical components under mentor supervision and operate assembly tools.
