Job summary

W S I Talent seeks a Sustainability and Energy Manager for Bowling Green, Kentucky. This role leads energy management and sustainability initiatives in a heavy manufacturing facility, driving energy efficiency, cost savings and emissions reductions.

You will partner with maintenance, facilities and environmental teams, manage energy projects from identification to implementation, and present results to management with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Energy/Sustainability Management or 3+ years energy project mgmt
• Heavy manufacturing facility experience required
• Experience analyzing energy data across utilities
• Proven ability to deliver energy-efficiency projects
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Energy and Sustainability Programs and act as primary energy contact
• Lead cross-functional teams on energy activities and initiatives
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and strategies to improve efficiency
• Analyze energy consumption and costs across utilities
• Manage energy-related projects, budgets, and timelines
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Facilities, and Environmental teams
• Prepare RFQs and support budget planning
• Monitor energy performance and optimize with monitoring systems
• Present energy recommendations and savings to management
• Benchmark measures across Magna plants and suppliers
• Identify incentives and funding opportunities
