Job summary

Williams is seeking an Environmental Specialist II, III in Bowling Green, OH to lead projects in air, water, and/or waste and ensure regulatory compliance. You will develop and apply environmental processes, assess risk, and prepare required permits and reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of environmental experience, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Williams offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum four (4) years’ environmental experience.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and provides guidance on environmental processes/policies.
• Assesses environmental risk, provides recommendations to address risk and participates in or runs the approved course of action, including required regulatory documentation.
• Prepares and submits applications to procure environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations and coordinates with company partners.
• Identifies environmental training needs and provides training to company partners.
• Assists with the preparation of all required compliance reports/certifications and development and maintenance of documentation related to environmental compliance programs.
• Performs environmental compliance audits, as the need arises.
• Prepares and submits all required compliance reports/certifications; develops and maintains documentation related to environmental compliance programs.
• Cultivates relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies.
• Researches governmental and industry standards for compliance requirements and ensures compliance with such regulations.
• Prepares and submits all required compliance reports/certifications, plans and inventories to regulatory authorities.
• Develops, recommends and implements improvements for systems and processes in air, water, waste management and/or remediation activities for assigned areas.
