Job summary

Energy 350, Inc. is seeking a collaborative Outreach Energy Engineer to join our team serving the manufacturing and agricultural sectors in Oregon. The role blends technical field engineering with relationship-building to promote energy efficiency programs.

Based in Oregon with 40% travel, you will engage utilities, customers, and contractors, scoping projects and performing energy performance calculations. A strong background in energy efficiency or mechanical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in energy-related field.
• Experience in energy efficiency or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with industrial sector and industrial account management.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and energy consumption drivers.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Promote Energy Trust of Oregon energy efficiency offerings to customers, contractors, and associations.
• Perform market research to identify non-participating utility customers in Oregon.
• Develop strategic plans to increase participation in energy efficiency incentives.
• Attend industry events and conduct field visits, meetings, and trainings.
• Collaborate with customers and contractors to identify energy efficiency projects and facilitate connections with account management and engineering teams.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and use Microsoft tools for collaboration and reporting.
