The role blends field engineering with outreach, promoting energy efficiency offerings to customers, contractors, vendors, and community organizations. The position emphasizes developing expertise in irrigation and agricultural systems, with travel about 40% across central, eastern, and southern Oregon.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in energy efficiency or mechanical engineering fields.
• Experience with local industrial/agricultural contractor networks.
• Knowledge of irrigation and industrial mechanical systems.
• Experience modeling mechanical systems and estimating energy savings.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and planning skills.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess energy efficiency projects at agricultural sites.
• Perform energy engineering analyses on irrigation and industrial systems.
• Manage project pipelines, schedules, and documentation deadlines.
• Conduct regular calls, field visits, and customer meetings.
• Promote Energy Trust’s incentives to contractors and vendors.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and collaborate using Microsoft tools.
