Job summary

Energy 350, Inc. seeks an Outreach Energy Engineer to join Energy Trust of Oregon in Portland, OR, focusing on industrial energy efficiency outreach for manufacturing and agriculture.

The role blends technical field engineering with relationship-building, driving energy-saving projects, site visits, and collaboration with customers, contractors, and internal teams across Oregon. Travel ~40% with relocation support; base pay $85k–$140k plus annual bonus and profit sharing, plus a rich benefits

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and/or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in energy efficiency or mechanical engineering fields.
• Experience with industrial sectors and technical services is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Perform market research to identify non-participating utility customers in Oregon.
• Develop strategic outreach plans to increase participation in incentives.
• Identify barriers to participation and propose solutions.
• Attend industry events and conduct regular customer meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with customers and contractors to identify energy efficiency projects.
• Perform basic scoping calculations for energy performance.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and use Microsoft tools for collaboration.
• Work with account managers and engineering teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
