Energy 350 is seeking an Outreach Engineer to promote energy efficiency offerings across Oregon’s industrial and agricultural sectors. You will engage customers, contractors, and associations while scoping energy projects and building meaningful relationships throughout the state.

The role combines technical outreach with market research, requiring self‑start qualities, strong communication, and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in energy efficiency or mechanical engineering.
• Familiar with industrial sector and account management.
• Strong Excel, CRM (Salesforce) and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform market research to identify non‑participating utility customers across Oregon.
• Develop strategic plans to engage customers for Energy Trust’s Industry & Agriculture programs.
• Identify and overcome barriers to customer participation.
• Attend industry events and association meetings; conduct calls, field visits, and trainings.
• Build a network to engage industrial and agricultural communities.
• Collaborate with customers and contractors on site to identify energy efficiency projects.
