Job summary

CMC Energy Services is seeking an Energy Advisor I/II to help commercial and industrial facilities participate in utility energy efficiency programs by recommending energy modifications. The role provides expert advice, coordinates program activities and guides customers through the utility process.

The position involves on-site assessments, developing scopes of work, and coordinating with contractors and program managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years prior call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial energy systems or utility demand-side management programs preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, be detail-oriented and self-managed in a professional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers, staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for potential and participating customers and contractors.
• Promote utility programs to commercial and industrial facilities within assigned territories with technical program support.
• Perform assessments, develop scopes of work and facilitate program presentations.
• Coordinate and manage projects with contractors, permitting and documentation through to completion.
