Job summary

CMC Energy Services, Inc. seeks an Energy Advisor I/II to drive participation in utility energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial facilities. You will advise, coordinate with contractors, and conduct on-site assessments to identify cost-effective measures and compile scopes of work.

The role involves outbound calls, customer service, program enrollment, and supporting project management from outreach through completion. Travel and field work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years energy conservation, industrial consultative sales or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for potential and participating customers and contractors.
• Promote utility programs to commercial and industrial facilities within assigned territories with technical program support.
• Make outbound calls to new and existing customers; schedule assessments and facilitate program presentations.
• Assist customers through the utility process and gather required documentation for participation.
• Coordinate and manage projects with contractors, permitting, and other items to completion.
• Perform on-site industrial energy assessments to identify cost-effective measures and generate scopes of work.
• Develop outreach tactics to recruit customers and trade allies.
• Meet program goals and assist in forecasting and planning for future objectives.
• Provide written summary reports to customers and Program Manager as needed.
• Attend networking events and meetings; manage inventory and company equipment.
