Job summary

CMC Energy Services in Hamilton, NJ seeks an Energy Advisor I/II to drive participation in energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial facilities. You will serve as the main contact, promote programs, conduct assessments, and coordinate applications and project execution with contractors and customers.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service or related fields, strong communication, and a willingness to travel up to 50%+; MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial energy systems or utility demand-side management is preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and accurate documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and contractors (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Promote utility energy programs to commercial/industrial facilities and provide technical support.
• Make outbound calls, schedule assessments, and facilitate program presentations.
• Assist customers in completing program applications and required documentation.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person to move projects forward.
• Coordinate projects with contractors, permits, and other items to completion.
