Job summary

Johnson Controls Navy Systems seeks an Electronic Specialist (Manufacturing Maintenance) for the York, PA facility. You will diagnose malfunctions, replace components, and repair control modules to keep critical systems running smoothly.

The role requires interpreting drawings and electrical codes, performing preventive maintenance, and building control panels. Training in LOTO, arc flash, ESD, and forklift safety is expected, with relocation possible.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of frequency drives and PLC ladder logic.
Skilled in wiring, conduit installation, and control panel assembly.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from technical drawings, electrical codes, manuals, and work orders.
Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions; replace or repair defective components and control modules.
Reassemble, test, and verify equipment under operating conditions; perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, fabricate harnesses, and build control panels.
Wire complex units and install auxiliary controls.
Utilize precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing equipment.
Operate hand tools, power tools, bending equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and material handling devices safely.
