Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks a Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing) at the York, PA Grantley Plant. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical production equipment and material handling systems, supporting setup of new equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and reassembling and testing under operating conditions.

Preferred candidates will have 2–5 years in manufacturing maintenance and hold LOTO, Arc Flash, ESD, Fall Protection, and lift training

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of manufacturing machine maintenance experience.
• 2–5 years of basic knowledge of electromechanical systems: hydraulic, basic electrical, and pneumatic.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical production equipment and material handling systems within the plant.
• Support the setup of newly purchased or relocated equipment; diagnose malfunctions; perform general maintenance tasks.
• Reassemble, test, and verify equipment under operating conditions.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, bending equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and material handling devices safely.
