Job summary
Johnson Controls Navy Systems seeks an Electronic Specialist (Manufacturing Maintenance) at the York, PA plant to diagnose, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems critical to Navy equipment and manufacturing lines. You will read technical drawings, install wiring, fabricate panels, and verify performance under live conditions.

Qualifications
- Must hold Journeymen Papers and/or technical certification in electronics or electrical systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and PLC ladder logic preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, electrical codes, manuals, and work orders.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions; replace or repair defective components and control modules.
- Reassemble, test, and verify equipment under operating conditions.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, fabricate harnesses, and build control panels.
- Wire complex units and install auxiliary controls.
