Job summary

Pratt is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade electrical systems at our New York facility. The role focuses on improving predictive maintenance, reducing reactive downtime, and supporting operations through technical problem-solving and standard work practices.

The position requires reading electrical diagrams, performing panel wiring, and executing mechanical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or associate degree preferred.
• Two-year electrical degree and two years of industrial electrical experience, or five years without degree.
• Electrical and mechanical experience required; corrugated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, design and install electrical equipment.
• Support operations with process improvements and predictive/preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment cut sheets to plan work.
• Respond to call-outs as needed to keep equipment running.
• Operate and maintain electrical and electronic systems including PLCs and VFDs.
