Job summary
Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to service, repair, and test production machinery in our Dalton, GA facility.
You will learn equipment processes, assist with changeovers, and implement maintenance plans to support efficient flooring production. The role requires experience in an industrial setting, strong schematic interpretation, and skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Associate's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; work independently.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, adjust, and test machinery and equipment in production.
- Learn production equipment processes and aid in troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative maintenance and monitor routine needs.
- Use test equipment and digital resources to complete tasks.
- Assist with product changeovers and process improvements.
- Plan and document improvement techniques and devices.
- Operate with mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills daily.
- Follow SOPs and complete general housekeeping as required.
- Attend training and uphold safety practices.
