Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance across extrusion and plant equipment. You’ll respond to breakdowns, carry out preventive maintenance, and support motor and sensor installations, with SAP documentation of all labor and parts.

The role requires PLC exposure, multimeter diagnostics, and a willingness to work 12-hour 2-3-2 rotations or similar shifts. OSHA 10 is preferred, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with SAP work orders and labor tracking.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred and basic PLC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and respond to breakdowns to restore operations.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedule (lubrication, filtration, oil changes).
• Support installation and repair of electromechanical assets (motors, sensors, control components).
• Inspect equipment regularly; document SAP work orders, labor, and parts usage.
• Work across utilities (air, water) and electrical panels; ensure safe, clean work area.
