Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair plant equipment, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems, welding, and fabrication. Candidates should be able to perform rounds, troubleshoot, and execute preventative maintenance using SAP for work orders.

Two or more years in extrusion or three+ years in industrial maintenance is required, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in extrusion or three or more years in industrial maintenance.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic welding and fabricating skills.
• Proficiency using SAP to generate work orders and track materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform rounds twice per shift to inspect equipment such as air compressors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Report problems with equipment, leaks, or deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per the Preventative Maintenance Program and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Complete routine assignments with minimal supervision and support safety standards.
